Upgrading previous versions of QuickBooks
If you are thinking of upgrading from a previous version and want to know if your data file can be migrated, the following information will help.
For those users running version 6 or higher, you can upgrade your data file to the latest version without issue. When you install the latest version of the software, it will automatically detect your old installation and make any necessary changes. We strongly recommend that you backup your data file prior to upgrading.
If you are running anything under version 6 we offer a data conversion service. This service is a 'no win, no fee' approach. If we are unable to upgrade your data file, you don't pay us a penny. If you require this service please email us and we will send you more information.
